Last fall, when we began thinking about bringing the festival back to life, our thoughts were riddled with unknowns.
What would it even look like? The city has changed so much.
Would Winston-Salem support the rebirth of Phuzz? Nothing like it has been done in the past decade.
Do people even want a festival? The world is in such a strange place.
In early conversations, the enthusiastic support from our supporters pushed us over the edge, taking the festival from hypothetical to inevitable.
HERE’S WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED TOGETHER…
> Hosted 50 genre-bending acts across three magical days in downtown Winston-Salem
> Made new memories with over 1,100 festivalgoers
> Activated 11 historic venues and unconventional spaces with unforgettable performances
> Cast a new vision for the kind of city Winston-Salem can become
Here are just a few of our favorite moments…

The fact that we were able to accomplish this, in less than three months between the festival’s return announcement and when bands took the stage, is a testament not only to the universal power of music, but also to what we can accomplish when we act together on a unified vision for energizing our city.
Thank you for buying into the vision.
As our team reflects on this spring and charts a course for what’s next, our ears are wide open. Don’t be afraid to reach out with feedback or ideas. Thank you for helping us get this far.
Sincerely,
