Phuzz Phest launched in 2011 when two promoters accidentally booked back-to-back shows, and decided to combine efforts rather than compete. Growing steadily from 2011 to 2016, the festival became known for bringing acclaimed performers to Winston-Salem on their way to the spotlight.
Rather than cramming audiences into an open field or parking lot, the festival utilized unique and historic spaces throughout downtown Winston-Salem, putting the best of the city on display.
After a decade hiatus, Phuzz returns April 9-11 to venues across downtown Winston-Salem.
